A Chuckin' Conundrum

I've turned the above so far on a faceplate. I was planing to then mount it on an expanding jaw on my Vicmarc 100 chuck using the hollowed rings on the underside. The largest hole is 93mm diameter / 7mm deep but not dovetailed. The second inner ring is 74mm diam / 18mm deep. There is a 22mm hole drilled right through. I only have a 47mm jaw! It is gnarly oak so I need some grip. I could buy a 72mm jaw (at a cost) but the hole is still not dovetailed (It is essentially reverse dovetaield to grip a lid which currenlty fits very nicely!). I'm looking for better and cheaper suggestions.
I could lighlty grip it on my 47mm jaw and turn a tenon and then part that off when finished (it will shorten the end result)?
Any ideas welcome
Hi Paul, I think I probably meant a jam Mount, not friction. Made an oak “male” ” to tightly fit into the hole. Not a flat plate for friction. Was turning it this morning. All held tight and done 👍🏻
