A Magical Woodturning All-Day Event

Katie Armstrong is the youngest registered professional woodturner in the UK. She has been turning since she was 12 and was accepted for the Emerging Turners Program which develops fresh, emerging woodturning talent. Katie and co-demonstrator Dan Smith now help support the future work of this program. As they say "Training like this is priceless and such an importance to keep this craft established and in the hands of the younger generation. Keeping it alive and moving forwards".

Dan & Katie are also co-directors of Yorkshire Makers - a venture they formed to help other local makers sell the things they craft: from cards to soap, from candles to toys. So please do come along and join us for a magical day of woodturning.
